The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) released the China’s Foreign Trade Situation Report (Spring 2010) on April 27, reviewing China’s foreign trade in 2009 and analyzing the characteristics of China’s foreign trade growth in the first quarter of 2010. The Report held that in 2010, China’s foreign trade development environment is continuously being improved but confronts lots of difficulties and problems. Hence, we shall continuously implement well policies and measures for overseas market demand, timely help enterprises tackle practical difficulties and support enterprises to consolidate traditional markets and positively explore emerging markets in bid to maintain the good trend of export recovery. Also, we shall further stabilize the policy of import promotion, urge relevant countries to revoke irrational export control and guide enterprises to reasonably increase import. What’s more, we shall seize the currently preferential opportunity of foreign trade recovery to adjust and optimize import and export structure and promote the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade pattern and the transformation of development mode in a bid to realize fast and healthy development of foreign trade.
