Bank of China Sets up Branch in Perth, Australia

The Perth branch of Bank of China (BOC) was inaugurated on February 1. BOC president of head office Li Lihui, Western Australian governor Colin Barnett and Chinese ambassador in Australia Zhang Junsai attended the opening ceremony.

 

Li Lihui said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency that the branch setting up in Perth, the capital of Western Australia, is an important step of BOC in expanding the overseas business actively. Benefited from the mature experience for development and management of mineral resource, Western Australia has an important economic status in Australia and has attracted a large number of excellent Chinese enterprises coming for investment. And the setting up of Perth branch totally follows the market-oriented and customer-centered principles.
