1.Brief Introduction Located at the north coast of Hangzhou Bay,Shanghai Chemical Industry Park has a total planning area of 29.4km2.It is one of the industrial projects with the largest investment scale during the tenth "Five-Year-Plan".The total investment for the first phase amounts to 1,150 billion RMB.It is the first specialized development zone with petroleum and fine chemical engineering as the leading industry since the opening up and reform,meanwhile it is also the southern center of the six industry bases in Shanghai.Upon completion,the Chemical Industry Zone can achieve an industrial output of RMB100 billion with the reputation of the "New Flying Wings of Shanghai's Industry".
