According to the Global Business Environment report of 2009, which was released by the World Bank and its affiliated International Finance Corporation on the 10th jointly, Chinese business environment has improved significantly. The report points out that the Property Law expands the scope of the guaranty, and enlarges the financing channels of Chinese enterprises and relevant organizations. With law enforcement of China becoming stricter, arrears phenomenon has been effectively checked. In addition, the implementation of the new accounting system and the reform of corporate income tax make Chinese enterprises reduce tax burden.
According to this report, in the business environment ranking of 181 economic bodies, China is the 83rd, up by 7 compared with the 90th last year. Business environment of South Africa, India and Brazil has been improved, in the rank of 32, 122 and 125 respectively.
