On August 20, General Electricity China Technology Park (GECTP) with an area of more than 60,000 sq m was completed and launched into use in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai Pudong district. Jeffrey R. Immelt, President of GE expressed China Technology Park (CTP) is the important symbol that GE further realizes the localization in China, and GE will carry out the close cooperation with Chinese partners in such fields as environmental protection, energy, transportation, production and manufacturing as well as health based on Chinese economic development strategy in future.

GECTP is the fully building-added modern comprehensive office park on the basis of the GE (China) R & D center and will be the headquarters of GE in China in the future, which can accommodate more than 3000 staff.
