Goods with automatic import license consist of the ones listed in Catalogue of the Goods subject to the Administration of Automatic Import License System jointly issued by Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the General Administration of Customs on December 31, 2001 (Goods listed in catalogue 1 and 3). I. Examination of goods listed in category 1 Materials required: 1. Application for Automatic Import License (each item should be filled exclusive of No. 3, 4 and 20 items. No.19 item should be stamped with seal.) 2. In case of the district and county enterprises, the applications should be approved by the original approving authority and stamped with seal; 3. Automatic Import License gained with Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment of Shanghai; 4. Enterprise approval certificate (in terms of the enterprise deals with the procedures for the first time). II. Examination of the goods listed in category 2 Materials required: As to the equipment listed in category 2, the enterprise should fetch equipment examination table with Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment of Shanghai. III. Examination of goods in category 3 Materials required: 1. Enterprise application. It should consist of following items: 1）Products and production scale of the enterprise; 2）Actual output and volume of the importation of the product in recent two years. 3）Use of product of the similar kind in China, enterprise production plan (annual plan and monthly plan) and relevant import volume, and actual accumulative importation volume of the product in current year; 4）The cause for the delay of exportation and processing trade manual should be provided, in case the products involved in importation for processing trade is distributed in China. 5）User information should be provided as to the enterprises engaged in steel cutting processing. 2.
