Till now, besides producing and selling the first class products cooperatively with the world famous producers such as TOSHIBA、SHARP、SANYO、SALTON、SUNBEAM、UDO、B&D、UFESA, the company creates her own brands EUPA Tsann Kuen and SWIFT and sells products to the mainland China, Japan, Europe and America as well, and established good credit. Tsann Kuen Nation Group cannot gain such a good credit and achievement without the first class quality of products. The company has never been loosing management on the controlling of product quality. 1.On the developing of new products, the company believes that only by constantly promoting new products that can meet the needs of market can they hold the customers firmly. In these two years, Shanghai Tsann Kuen increases their investment, and won the title of Shanghai Technological Center in 2002. Based to the survey of the market and the needs analysis done for customers, the company actively develops new products adapt to the trend of the market and spares efforts to reduce the circle to develop new products. Only within the last half of the year, the company has developed 15 new products and applied for 42 patents. Ever from the beginning of a new program, the company does assessing at every stage on the model of the products, on the assembling of the products and on the operating of the products. At every assessing stage, we assume ourselves to the customers and assess the quality of the products extremely strict, which will result in the fewest complaints by customers due to the factors of the market. During the whole researching and developing period, beginning with the pre-planning and controlling of the quality of the products (APQP) we try to nip the potential problems in the bud. In the later half of the year, the company will develop many competitive products among which the three SHARP models of electrical rice cooker are firstly and strongly recommended. These three models of electrical rice cooker will be in mass production at the end of Oct 10th. And the high-retail-priced MAYTAG food mixer will be worth 80 dollars. Besides this, many other new products will be put on to the market this year, such as the food processing machine, oven, and toaster of SALTON and SUBEAM etc.. All of these are severe challenges for us, but we are full of confidence. 2.On the quality management, for example, we unify the technology and management, but a faulting understanding towards the products will appear. At the same time, we make our requirements for products in accordance with the requirements of our customers. While enforcing the controlling for the whole producing process, we administrate the sampling test for products just in front of the production lines, which contributes to find problems and solve them as quickly as possible. After the product testing of FQC, we also add the sampling test of QA. All the goods can be delivered only after they pass these two testing procedures. During the whole producing process, we detect, analyze and solve problems with the help of the SPC and FMEA instruments that are used for improving the quality of products. And this can significantly improve the standard rate of products effectively and have the function of preventing. We strengthen the verification of the internal quality system as well. Besides the regular checks, we also add the irregular checks and maintain the effective and consistent operation of the quality system and the improvement of the quality system. In 2003, we implement the factory management of 5S, which keeps a ordered working environment. This operation greatly guarantee the steady improvement of the product quality. In the latter half of the year, we will adapt the QUALITY CONTROL CYCLE (QCC) and Six Sigma,and in the first half of next year, we will have the quality controlling system of TS16949 to the spare parts factory. 3. On the supplying of products, we have a strong control over the suppliers. First of all, we have an adaptation to the raw materials. We order the materials required by the technology, make channels for the feedback of the problems existed more smoothly and offer guidance and regular exam to the suppliers actively. Our companies also enforces the mutual interaction, benefits and help among suppliers, inform the suppliers of the requirements for the quality of materials of our company and assist the suppliers to improve technological process and strengthening the quality, thus improve the quality together. 4.On the checking of the exported products, Shanghai Tsann Kuen hold more than 200customers and sell products to 118 countries and regions. We set up separate files for diversified customers, different countries and regions and keep records of the special requirements of various customers. For those customers who want to check the products in person, we offer the QA checking process, making sure that the products exported meet the needs of our customers. As considering the requirements of our customers, we also engage in improving our testing standards. 5.On the training of our employees, we improve the employees ‘working skills, management level and the consciousness for quality through several of training activities. The consciousness of customer-centered is strengthened by our promotion and education. We set up the college of Tsann Kuen to convey 36 qualified technological talents to our company this year and The college accepts new students in the latter half this year. We are going to hold a systematic training for the basic level cadres in the latter half this year as well. 6.On the equipments, most of the equipments are introduced from foreign countries with rich equipment producing experience, exquisite workmanship, complete set of testing and checking facilitates and advanced technology. We employ the advanced ERP integrated computer producing system to control the production process and have the quality and the time of delivery with in our command. In the ten years, Tsann Kuen consistently directs its way with the philosophical belief that though the earth will be destroyed in the future, Tsann Kuen still plant “two-grape” today: 1.researching and developing, 2. education and training. Tsann Kuen sustains a developing pace steadily these years at the speed of 14.15% every year ever since 1999. In 2000, according to the statistics by Shanghai Foreign trade and Economy Committee, the company occupied the 25th in the list of 50 excellent foreign enterprises in Shanghai. In 2003, the company became the No.1 in the record of Shanghai electric household appliance for earning foreign exchange of 78340 thousand US dollars.
